The context
Humanitarian organizing depends on many people doing their part: volunteers, donors, scholars, partners, and the community around them. My HDF work connects volunteer leadership and event operations with outreach, logistics, speaking, and community mobilization.
My contribution
- Coordinate volunteers and event operations for humanitarian fundraising and scholar programs.
- Support outreach, community partnerships, logistics, and the follow-through that makes public events possible.
- Help organize major Phoenix-area HDF events, working as part of a wider team.
Selected outcomes
Selected 2026 milestones include Salahuddin’s Dream on January 31 and Allah’s Chosen People on May 9. At the May event, I helped organize the program, coordinated volunteers and security on behalf of Honeybadger Solutions, and spoke during the program.
