The context
EVIC is a developing Islamic campus project in Chandler, Arizona. Its public vision brings Islamic education, worship, youth and family life, and community connection into a lasting institution. The work asks what a campus should make possible for the people it will serve.
My contribution
- Contribute to community development and strategic planning around the educational and institutional vision.
- Support community engagement, outreach, and stakeholder conversations.
- Help connect campus and program development with the long-term needs of youth and families.
- Participate in the wider effort to build sustainable community infrastructure.
Where the work stands
This is ongoing development work. The contribution is in planning, engagement, and helping clarify the purpose of a future institution; the campus and its programs remain in development.
